I’m Eyvonne and I believe in having real faith in a hard world.

Real faith is a non-syrupy, non-dillusional, non-pollyanna belief in someone bigger than all of us.

It’s knowing God is real when we don’t see him.

It’s trusting He is good when life isn’t.

It’s asking hard questions and facing life head on.

Life is hard. Not always, but often. And a difficult world and a good God exist together — at the same time.

I’m an idealist who masquerades as a realist. I write about the tension between the ideal world Jesus described and the reality we see around us — with some parenting, work, and relationships mixed in.

So if you’v ever wrestled, grappled, doubted, questioned yourself (or God), come in and have a seat. You’re in good company.

I’d love to hear from you
