Real faith in a hard world.

About Me

Hi, I’m Eyvonne.  Welcome to my blog!  Here, we discuss the tension between the ideal world Jesus described and the reality we see around us. We work through hard questions about:

  • knowing God better
  • being an authentic Christian in the culture of “me”
  • demonstrating sincere faith in the secular workplace
  • loving people even when it’s hard

We are a community of Christians who think deeply about our faith.

Every week I share my thoughts about how to live and love in our changing world.

But who are you, really?

b-and-eIn addition to being a writer and thinker, I’m a wife, mother of four, and network engineer.   I was born and raised in Central Kentucky.  I met my husband in high school and we married in 1996, my sophomore year of college.  We now live in the wonderful small town of Hardinsburg, Kentucky where my husband pastors a local church.

What do you believe?

I am a theological conservative but a political orphan.  I believe in the inerrancy of Scripture and affirm the doctrines of grace.  Most of all, I love Jesus and long to see him redeem every broken thing.
